Lic Jaime Roberto Gómez Ralón

Jaime Roberto Gómez Ralón, Guatemalan, who during his student life had a great participation in different groups of students with the aim of improving the study conditions, of these we can highlight: president of the INVAG Student Association, secretary of the Association of Chemical Students and President of the Emergency Council of the Student Movement of the University of San Carlos, from March and April, 1962. He began his professional life graduating from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala with the title of Pharmaceutical Chemist . I dedicate my entire life to the study of this profession, accumulating a large repertoire of courses and diplomas by the Universidad del Valle in Colombia, University of the Valley of Guatemala, San Carlos University of Guatemala, Mexican Institute of Social Security and the University of the Isthmus . Within these courses and diplomas, are: Validation Course of Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Course on Pharmacokinetics: Bioequivalence and Bioavailability of Drugs, Course of Control and Use of Essential Drugs and Diploma in Pharmaceutical Marketing

Later in his life, he performed several professional activities that were concreting their knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical and were developing their skills as a businessman and leader, such as: Pharmacist of the Internal Pharmacy Roosevelt Hospital, Pharmaceutical Advisor Hospital Pharmacy of Gineco-Obstetricia del IGSS, Head of the Quality Control Laboratory and Production Manager of Laboratorios Lancasco, SA, President of the College of Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals of Guatemala (1976/77 – 1986/87), Head of the Laboratory of Production of the IGSS and Partner and Director of Droguería Unión de Farmaceuticos, among others.

For more than 10 years he also devoted himself to teaching, teaching classes such as Biology, Biochemistry and Mathematics, in different institutions such as El Colegio Europeo, Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala and Universidad del Valle. In 2012 due to his outstanding performance in the guild, he obtained a diploma of recognition for his professional work for the benefit of the country, by the College of Pharmacists and Chemists of Guatemala and in 2014 he was awarded a recognition commemorating his “Golden Wedding” with the profession Entrepreneur by nature and founder of Farmacias del Guarda, Farmacia Santa Elisa and Farmacia Bella Aurora, as well as Robyeli laboratories. In addition, it can be noted that he was one of the founding partners of KER, S.A. where he invested his passion and dedication for the pharmaceutical sciences, for the health of the Guatemalans and for his country from the first day. Throughout his life, no matter what position or activity he exercised, he was always distinguished by his dedication, passion and attention to people.
